Just Write is a free writing website. There is no account, no email, no password. You open the page and you can type. That's the whole onboarding.
Why no sign up matters
Most writing apps put a login wall between you and the blank page. By the time you've created an account, verified an email, and dismissed three onboarding tooltips, the thought you wanted to capture is gone. Friction kills the moment of inspiration.
Just Write removes the friction completely: the URL is the editor. You land on the editor and you type.

Where your text goes
Nowhere. Just Write doesn't have a server-side database for your writing. Whatever you type lives in your browser's local storage and stays there until you clear it. There's no “export to cloud” because there's no cloud. Copy your text into wherever you actually keep your work when you're done.
If you want offline and Focus Mode
The web version is free and complete for the core experience. The desktop and Android apps add Focus Mode and work offline. One-time payment with lifetime updates. No subscription, no account there either.
